Paul Dentinger, Director, Product Development

Paul brings more than a decade of experience in materials science to Cool Earth Solar. A problem-solving scientist and manager, Paul has expertise in polymers, polymer processing, analytical chemistry, and fabrication at the micro- and nano-scales.

Before coming to Cool Earth, he was Director of MicroElectroMechanical Systems (MEMS) R&D at FormFactor, responsible for formulating and integrating polymers for microfabrication and directing general microfabrication strategies and process integration for the company. His previous positions also include stints as a senior R&D engineer at Caliper Life Sciences in charge of polymer chip fabrication and various technical staff positions at Sandia National Laboratories, Livermore. Paul is author of 9 patents and 30 publications. He holds a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

A former U.S. Peace Corps volunteer/teacher, Paul likes to spend his free time camping with his family and shares his passion and respect for the natural world with his children.
