Michael Hawley, Senior Engineer

In his twenty years of engineering experience, Michael Hawley has developed deep skill sets working with both clean renewable energy and with designing power and control systems.

Prior to joining Cool Earth Solar, Mr. Hawley managed the Control Systems Department at Trace Technology (subsidiary of Xantrex Technologies). His team developed three phase inverters for grid tied and off-grid solar applications.

Mr. Hawley also served as a Senior Firmware Engineer developing traction controllers for zero emission electric vehicles at Curtis PMC. At Quadlux, he managed the design of a 12 kW commercial oven that used massive amounts of infrared and visible light to quickly bake foods.

Michael studied engineering at California State University, Hayward.
