Senior Electronics Technician

We are looking for an experienced technician to help us power the world with the Sun. By experienced, we mean not just experienced "on paper." We need someone who lives and breathes real-world problem solving on a circuit level. If that's you, and you are someone who loves to tinker, even on weekends (because it's a part of who you are), someone who, when faced with a problem, comes up with three possible solutions in short order (and can clearly explain how you got there and why), someone who is a self-starter, a good communicator, and a hard worker, someone who is eager to take on tasks and glories in the thrill of the difficult, then read on.

The successful candidate will be ready, willing, and able to read and generate schematics incorporating digital and analog circuitry. If you are the one we choose, you’ll be building interconnected systems of circuit boards, making wiring harnesses, routing cabling, hooking up power supplies, running test software, and troubleshooting PCB and system functionality. In addition, you will be reading and writing C or assembly code for Microchip PIC processors. We may also ask you to generate schematics and PCB layouts from general circuit sketches using CAD tools.
