Machinists

We're seeking machinists with 10 or more years of experience working with tools such as CNC, lathes, and mills to join the Cool Earth Solar team. Successful candidates will work closely with our mechanical engineers and designers to develop prototype ideas and machine prototype parts from SolidWorks® designs. Our machinists also act as liaisons to third-party vendors, such as material vendors and manufacturing partners.

Experience with CAD/CAM programs required. Experience with a CNC program is a plus. A working knowledge of SolidWorks® is highly preferred. We want people who are creative and detail-oriented, who are comfortable working with small teams and participating in meetings, and who have clear verbal communication skills. Finally, applicants should be able to multitask on a timely basis and have a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
